FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions parents often ask

Is this tutoring or a complete Algebra 1 program?

This is a structured, yearlong Algebra 1 instructional program rather than occasional homework help.

How often will students meet live?

Each cohort meets twice a week for 75 minutes per class.

What is the maximum class size?

Each cohort is limited to 15 students.

How are prerecorded videos used?

Prerecorded videos provide extra support before or after class, help students review difficult concepts, and allow students who miss a lesson to stay on track. They supplement—not replace—live teacher-led instruction.

How will students follow the teacher's work during live lessons?

The instructor will annotate directly on the screen while solving problems so students can follow each step, copy organized notes, and see how the solution process develops in real time.

Does the program include Algebra 1 EOC preparation?

Yes. Students will receive Algebra 1 EOC preparation materials and targeted practice aligned to the skills emphasized in the course.

Can scholarship funds be used?

Eligible families may be able to use available scholarship funds. Families must confirm eligibility, balances, and purchasing rules through Step Up For Students.
